Madelyn graduated from Kindergarten. Michael thought it was stupid to have a graduation ceremony for 5 year olds, but it was well done and it was special for the kids. There are 4 kinder classes at Eagle. Each class got to sing 2 songs and then they got to go up and get a really nice diploma that had their graduation picture in it. Madelyn's class sang Zippidee Do Da and This Little Light of Mine. It's sad that she's moving on to 1st grade in a month. She loves Eagle and she loved her teacher this year - Miss Coffey. We're glad that there is a good school in our area for her to go to. The school mascot is an Eagle named Aristotle. Here he is with the flags on the stage.
Merrick was angry that I was making him take a picture. Notice his shirt - he buttoned it himself and I didn't notice he was off by one!
