another swim session comes to an end

We finished up with another 2 weeks of swimming lessons. I have to say that we all have great tans from being in the pool every day. Madelyn and Merrick ended up in the same class. The other kids in Madelyn's class got moved up and the the other quit after two days, so my kids got semi-private lessons with just the two of them. It was awesome! Merrick started this session crying like every day last session. Now, he doesn't cry at all. Today he jumped in all by himself for the first time in all 4 weeks of swim lessons. He still is not comfortable on his back, but I can see a great progression already. Madelyn had a major meltdown on Monday (day 5). She ended up getting kicked out of the pool for not listening and not even trying. Tuesday was horrible also, but she did try a little more. Yesterday and today she did awesome. She had to overcome some nerves and the thinking that she can't do what is being asked of her. Miley enjoys her Mom and me class. She loves the duck's that they get to play with and is now putting her whole face in the water to get her dive rings. We have been really happy with Miss Erin and are looking forward to another round starting Monday for Madelyn and in two weeks for Merrick and Miley. Wish us luck.
