Pine wood derby

Our ward allowed everyone to take part in the scout pine wood derby. We decided to take part in this fun activity. When we lived in Acworth, Michael made a pine wood humvee for the scout derby there. We entered it again and we added to our fleet an 18-wheeler. We made a Hershey's 18-wheeler. It was over weight, so it had to run in the "special vehicles" run. It won its race. The humvee sadly didn't win. It was great fun watching this scouting activity and seeing Michael and the kids get so into making a cool car.

This was an awesome Perry the Platypus car that came in second.
