Doctors and cows

It's almost time for school to start and little Miley has to get some shots ~ like 5! She was not excited at all. Michael Patrick needed his eighteen month shots also so I decided to get both of their check ups done in the same visit.

Miley always does pretty good. She even didn't mind when they brought in one shot to give her. I thought maybe they had mixed them or something and it was one of those "shot cocktails". But alas it was not so. After she and Michael had gotten their shots we waited and they came in with 4 more. Miley's face turned to sheer terror as she anticipated what was to come. Luck for us they had cute little Barbie band-aids for her. That and the promise of playing at Chick-fil-a were enough to calm her down.

On the Michael side of the visit my poor baby has HORRIBLE eczema. He tears at his skin and nothing has really helped. I already use Aveeno on his skin and perfume free laundry detergent. We try to limit what gets put on his skin but the poor baby has lizard skin. Finally they gave us something stronger than cortisone for his body and it seems to help.

After the shots we headed to Chick-fil-a for lunch and to let the kids play since they had been good during the 2 hours at the doctors office.

 Doesn't she look so pathetic.

They love this cow car, too bad there was trash in it this time and they didn't want to go in.

Poor Merrick hit his head about five times climbing up the stair area of this playset. I kept telling him to watch his head, but he kept running up and slamming his head.
This girl knows how to nurse boo-boos for days. When she scrapes her knees she will walk around for weeks holding her dress up above her knees so that it doesn't touch the ouchy. Silly girl!
