We've been doing T-ball for 3 weeks now. A guy from our ward is the coach and Michael is the assistant coach since he travels so much. The first game we all about passed out. It was so hot. This time, they got smart and put out easy-ups over the dugouts so that the kids could have a little shade. It made a huge difference. It is still in the 100s here and any shade really helps. We're having fun and Merrick is waiting until he can join in the spring.
You can see the house in the background has 4 horses that come hang out at the fence during the games. I think they are underfed though. You can see their hip bones and all their ribs. Sad.
