Phoenix Museum for Youth

Today I took the kids to the Museum for Youth in Mesa. It was fun, but not someplace you would need to go often. The city parking was free for 3 hours and I was afraid that we would be rushed, but we left after 2 1/2 hours and had done everything. Here are some pics of what the kids did.
This stage is where we started and ended. They had music blasting in this area and a few small instruments and puppets. When we ended all three of my kids had jumped or fallen down. Merrick hit his head against Miley and gave her a bloody nose and bloody mouth.

The kids made this tube tunnel and then you put a ball through and try to catch it in the bin at the bottom. Merrick loved this! He has such and Engineering mind!

Catbus from the Japan exhibit - this makes me think of Sam (I'm guessing you know who this is).

Merrick did not want to take this photo and just call her "crazy eyes" Madelyn!

and last but not least a Japanese tea party (pretend of course).

Are those robes out of the "Memoirs of a Geisha" dress-up box? ;)
