This is Chippy. He is our official family Elf on the Shelf. We have the video and in it the family names their elf Chippy. Madelyn and Merrick wanted to name him other names. Michael liked Mortimer. Miley was sticking to Chippy and we decided to give in because she can make life miserable when she is angry and I didn't think this was worth a fight.
One day he didn't come back from the North Pole because my children had been so bad the day before. In their prayers that night they prayed for Chippy to come back He forgave them when they started being good again. He went home on Christmas Eve. We're excited to see him again at Thanksgiving 2012!
