back to school door

If you know me, you know that I LOVE to decorate my front door for the seasons/holidays. I have had the hardest time figuring out what to do for that space between the 4th of July and my Halloween decorations. I was looking around on line and most of the "back to school" wreaths are super cute, but they are made of crayons. Do you know what would happen to my front door/porch if I put a ton of crayons out there? I can only imagine the melted wax mess. It seems that we only buy houses that face east/west so we get the brunt of the sunlight on the back and front of our house.

Anyway, I finally found the perfect back to school wreath. Here it is - I think it turned out pretty nicely.
