This week for family home evening I decided to teach the kids some basics of fire safety. I've been telling Madelyn about "stop, drop, and roll" and she showed me how she would do it. Merrick wouldn't demonstrate it, but it was hilarious when Miley got to the ground and started log rolling. It's neat that they can all participate even when some lessons are a little above their head. Madelyn still can recite 911 and knows to call them in an emergency. You never know when these little lessons will come in handy.
