Little Ballerina

This season was Miley's last ballet season with Miss Erin. She has done 4 sessions with Erin in this. She enjoyed having something that was hers alone. Erin doesn't do a "formal" recital in the spring so she had the girls work on a routine that they created themselves. They had to pick their favorite flower and a song that represented that song and choreograph a song to it that uses moves they have learned and ends in a curtsy.

Miley was so scared because we really didn't plan anything formal. She couldn't find her ballet slippers so she had to go bare foot. She went last and I have to say that she was the best (I may be a little biased!). We planned that she would start on the ground like a seed and grow and then dance. I could tell with each dancer her heart was in her throat. She totally overcame it and did awesome. She looked so confident. She wanted to be a sunflower so I got some green tights and sunflowers for her hair and one for her back and she wanted to put a purple one on too.  Way to go Miley!

Love the extended arms
