Last night Madelyn had her trophy celebration from T-ball. It's been a lot of fun to do T-ball this spring. The baseball association for our city is really good and in general it was a good experience. Anyway, last night we showed up and no one from our team was there. Can you believe it. One other little boy showed up and so there were just the two, Andrew and Madelyn. Finally, two of the coaches showed up and the one didn't even bring his girl who plays on the team. It was pretty sad that we have 12 kids on our team and 2 showed up. One of the little boys had his birthday party at the same time as the trophy ceremony and since our team is made up of 3 or 4 families and then Andrew and Madelyn, everyone went with their family member's to Joshua's party instead. In my mind, the trophy is what Madelyn has been working toward all season. I'm glad she got her moment to shine - even if our team had the worst showing of any of the 12 T-ball teams. It was also 106 degrees that night. Thank goodness the lawn at the school had big trees that offered a lot of shade.
Madelyn is the 3rd from the left in the back row.
Andrew is the youngest on our team and has one of the best throwing arms. He is also our only left handed hitter.
The MVP's.
We had a picture of Merrick, but he was making mean faces and I don't want to post them.

Atlanta people don't want to hear anything about Phoenix area baseball of any kind. The Diamondbacks beat us 12 to zip the other night!! How bad is that.
Madelyn looks so cute in her uniform. I'm glad she had a good time playing T-ball.
GREAT TROPHY MADELYN!!!
My poor Braves :(. But, GO DBACKS!!! Glad you got on Mom. She'll have to tell you about it when we see you soon.
